Of the 42,000 deaths that occur every week from unsafe water and a lack of basic sanitation, 90% are children under 5 years old. Illness and death from unclean water is common among children. Some families won’t even name their children for their first several years due to the fear of losing them to disease from the water. Despite the fact that in many cases these families literally live on the edge of the Amazon River, many of them actually have little or no access to water that is safe to drink and free from dangerous bacteria like Salmonella and E. Coli.
We will journey into the Amazonas state to help these needy families by providing clean water through filtration equipment.
Providing safe water is an obtainable goal and well within reach with proper education, equipment and training. These filters use the technology derived from kidney dialysis and at 7 log (99.99999%) the filter attains the highest level of filtration available today.
